When he opened his eyes to the new world, only thing known to him was LOVE…love of parents n relatives..enjoying the embrace and adorance at home..
Even as few years passed all he had seen was truth, innocence, respect for others and their feelings, hardly faced any envy, hatred or deceit till then. Maybe only in the form of studies in school (but that never affected him much as he was a mediocre student) or in the form of competing in cricket in evening with his friends (as he considered them).
He successfully passed boards and stepped in the college.. quite excited to enter the new world.. to experience the outer world, hostel lyff.. continued was his belief in everyone.. continued was his reliance in his friends(as he considered them)…
But now at every phase, at every step, things started appearing sophisticated. He gradually realized that he was living in the love cocoon till now…but now too late to realize…shattered was his all-love-n-happiness world..
He was becoming conscious..every soul is dark..world is full of cobwebs..they convolved more and more as tried to unravel it…become more enigmatic as tried to comprehend it..
bewildered..He found that he has also become a part of the chaotic horse-race of trickery, sham in which if he doesn’t run then would eventually be trampled under the dissemblance.
“Maybe by Darwin’s theory of Survival of the Fittest, being UNFIT for this world, will be eliminated”–
This fear instigated him to transform, otherwise he will be throttled..
He was suffocating, but the only way to pull through was to break away his habits, his constitution, he needed a make-up, needed to hide transparency..if not opaque then at least translucent, can’t accept a single word uncurved, unbent.. weigh his thoughts, his actions, polish everything he speaks, needs to be witty, bend everything he utters, can’t be direct…otherwise would be considered “insane/dull-witted/moronic” or in decent words “childish”..
To vindicate himself from these charges, he gradually instilled and implanted the new rules within himself, transfigured his disposition.
He must GROW-UP!
Now after years, as a GROWN-UP, in case or by mistake, if he looks back in his past, he thinks “HOW DUMB I WAS!”

Tested +ve of SwineFlu Scare!

•August 23, 2009 • 5 Comments

Swine flu phobia is quite widespread these days. Such are D indicators:
- Kith and kin giving tips to escape from becoming a victim of swine-flu.
- Some conscious junta even skipping the eagerly awaited mess-offs.
- Anybody sneezing tagged as Flu-infected.

This weekend I was going home for Janmashtami mini-vacation. I was given loads of instructions of wearing mask, or at least dupatta, if possible then soaked with eucalyptus oil, which is considered more efficient than masks, maybe cause its awful smell will drive everyone away.

As I entered the station, I found half the crowd with masks or dupatta. Being one of the mango people, I was also inspired to wear a dupatta (undoubtedly, without any stinking oil).
Later my friend educated me that most of the masks are of cheap quality of around Rs 10 which is of no compare to the specially medicated mask worth Rs 125 or whatsoever.
It was scorching hot and my dupatta worsened it for me. And, Having no reservation + Festival time, supplemented my miseries. :(

We managed to find some space to place feet in the coach and found too big conscious junta around.
One (smart)guy took out his (cheap)mask, but was unable to figure out how to wear it. The neighbouring uncle(s) were helping him by first theoretical instructions n then demonstrating practically. After getting passed in so many hands and through many noses, the mask failed to serve its objective as the boy dropped the idea of wearing it.
On the other had, some bravadoes not wearing one, were bragging over the futility of masks.

Pissed off by the heat, to find solace, some of us were removing our dupattas and masks time after time. Maybe thinking that the virus would catch us during the entire journey except for those special intervals.

After 5 lengthiest hours, when we stepped on the platform, we gave each other a sigh of relief. But, I was definitely proud of being (or at least behaving like) a conscious citizen!!
